The user persona describes who you are in the conversation. The character definition describes who the AI is portraying. Putting the same biography in both can create confusion.
What to do

Write the user block
Include the user’s chosen name, pronouns and role in the fictional scenario. Avoid unnecessary sensitive details.

Write the character block
Describe the character’s identity, traits and relationship to the user. Keep their dialogue examples clearly attributed.

Check the greeting
Make sure the greeting addresses the right person and does not reverse their histories.
